We have been asked,
"Why do you have a memorial for Flight 93,
but neglect all the others who were killed
on September 11, 2001?"
This is why -
All the others willingly died in obedience
to their indoctrination to obey "authority"
although the direct result of obedience
would be their own death or the death of others.
Some of the men and women on Flight 93 disobeyed
authoritarian presumptions of safety and orderliness
and took independent initiative to preserve themselves.
Even though they failed in their attempt to save themselves,
by taking direct, selfish and unauthorized acts,
a greater good was accomplished.
Many people did not die on September 11,
because a few men and women aboard Flight 93
acted in their own best interest.
The actors aboard Flight 93 were Free Men and Free Women.
Their failure was not in their acts of September 11th,
but in their inaction prior to September 11th
to preserve their individual capacity for self-preservation.
However belatedly,
they acted on their own authority and initiative
to preserve their lives and their liberty.
This is why a small tribute is posted to memorialize Flight 93.
The reasons why the others did not act to preserve their own existence
and why the acts of Flight 93 failed to succeed
are political in substance
and are addressed at a site
unrelated to this website.
